This exhibit was full of odds and ends. Fine Ceramic Antiquities. Granmother hankies.. And earrings. Everything that has a mind of its own. Discovered a new arrangement

A series of unusual art works. The lower level was postioned with etched landscapes fulled with people in black and white. The other end of the gallery.. surrounded with pinks and reds of angry dogs. These dogs represent breeds of bad dogs. I think dogs are adorable ? but these images were broaderly spaced as scary and different..  The objects and the thoughts beneath were fairly odd.

Theses Photos are straight from my camera. This was an exhibit of photos of children in black and white exhibited as "Play Den". Play Den was an unusual assortment of toddlers and old toys, drawing on the difficulties they have to grow from. There was  also ceramic 3 dimensional tangible wall art on display. Mosaics are Inspiring so beautiful.

I was creatively inspired by what I drew from this exhibit and how the youth of today are in need of a better life.

Wild Life Painting Workshop

This wild life painting workshop was held in Durban (local artist).  Here are some  of the summaries and guides to the workshop that was held. 
When painting wildlife, the background  should be painted first, adding texture (tub acrylic) to the background and colour adds to the tone of the painting. The background expresses the areas of light and shade, it adds to the focal point of the composition, and carrys your eye to the forground image.
Correct shades and colour work in favour with the overall paintings appeal.
The correct colours are important - burnt Seana, amber brown yellow ochre.When adding highlights you shouldn't use pure whites unless they are blended with other colours.
When painting the Iris black you should diffuse the colour to create depth, adding a thin cure in the eye as a reflection of the light source. Look out for an exhibition on the 30th March at the mall (for more inspiration)
